Anyone knows about "Stomp Out Loud"?

I've found this DVD in my bro's room. If I am not mistaken, it is about the music played by some group of people using unusual instruments such .. er .. brooms (??). On the cover it is written that it has an Academy Award nomination for "Brooms".

Can anyone tell me further information about this DVD .. is it worth seeing? And what is the nomination all about?

Note to Mods: Since I'm not sure where to post this thread (DVD Talk / Movie Talk / Music Talk), please feel free to move it to the most suitable forum.

Thanks, All.

I don't know about the nomination but if you are into that performance art sort of thing it's worth seeing.

This is a version of the off-Broadway show that has been playing in New York since July 1994. Check out their website at www.stomponline.com

Yes, it is worth seeing, although catch them live if you can.

I picked this up for $10 some time ago and am happy to have it in my collection. It is basically just a commercial rewrap of an HBO special presentation.

Sounds interesting.

My bro bought it from Hong Kong, I don't know how much it cost. I like the box .. when I first saw it on his rack, I thought it was a book with hard-cover

Well, tomorrow I will kidnap (borrow without permission) it and see it.
