Nope. Rented it - didn't like it.

I did own The Matrix DVD, until a special edition was announced a while back.

I sold it right after the press release, and just before the SE was canceled.

I'll be waiting for the inevitable 'ultimate box set' to buy it again.

Wow--a FIVE-PAGE thread in response to a yes or no poll. How can I not add to something so cool?
Yes, I own it and I've watched it more than most DVDs I own. And I'll see the new one on opening day.
P.S. Groucho never saw it because his wife & her girlfriends didn't like it? Maybe you and your wife have a long history of near identical taste, but if my wife saw and movie and said she didn't like it, I would most likely love it. And visa versa.

When they had an a sale at DDD I finally caved after years of not getting it. I think I paid $12.00 or something like that. It for sure is a movie you need to watch more than once, because I guess I just didn't get it after one viewing and didn't really care for it. Then upon the second and third viewings.... well I will be at the new ones!!!

No, I don't. Only saw about an hour of the film, then the stupid disc began to skip.

I will be seeing Reloaded this Wednesday night though.

Yes - bought it pretty late, though. Since I'm from Europe, I was lucky enough to get the R2 2-disc edition including "The Matrix Revisited". In a very nice cardboard sleeve.

Much nicer cover than the U.S. release.

As always.
