My list is fairly low. It used to be large, but since I've been buying for at least a couple of years it's increased and I think I own everything I want to that's actually been released. I also knocked a few off the list by buying a region free player and picking up the European versions of some of the films. That knocked a good chunk of what was left of the list. Now mainly it consists of TV sets that are awaiting release, new releases as they come down the pipe, and of course the movies that haven't been released anywhere but I wish they would.

I have 493 dvds on my wish-list, better known as my "getting for sure" list. pay no attention to my dvdaf wish-list....I'm not updated. I have a little notebook which lists all the ones that are out that I need....and all the ones yet to hit dvd. keep in mind, this is my domestic list. I still am planning my import shopping spree which will begin my import section. that list is at 93 and growing. Import Month begins in July!!

every week I add about 10 dvds to my library. 3 to 5 new releases and the rest I cross off from my list. give me another year or so...and I'll have all I desire, except for new releases and those rare ones that may never arrive.
I need more...more....MORE!!!!!

The only thing I have on my wishlist that has been released is ST:TNG Season 3. Everything else that I want has yet to be released. It is a great place to be in at this moment!

I try to keep my wishlist down to the bare minimum simply because I get depressed thinking about all those DVDs I really want. 20 is about the average number of titles and I only count those that have been officially announced.

Now that Time After Time is out, I honestly don't think there's anything left on my wish list.

Well, that's not entirely true. I'd love to get the B5 sets, but at m current income level those are still a long way off for me.

These days it seems like most of my dvd purchases are highly recomended blind buys.

My only wishlist is over at Amazon.com, right now it's at 34, but it tends to grow around Christmas.

If I put every DVD I wanted it would be a lot longer, but I try to prioritize.

According to DVD Af:

Owned:321 matches|349 titles
Wishlist:361 matches|582 titles

The wishlist has not been updated in a while though. I could do some definite condensing if I chose to.

From DVDAf as linked below. And I just took a bunch of stuff off the other night that I realized I don't really want. And truthfully, if I never get 90% of the stuff that's left, I'll still sleep ok at night.

Owned: 284 matches in 10 folders (312 titles).

Wishlist: 183 matches, 205 titles

From DVDAF

Owned:
166 matches, 178 titles

On Order:
1 match, 1 title

Wish List:
155 matches, 191 titles

I'm just trying to keep my wishlist smaller then the amount owned, but its always an uphill battle.

I have 79.

Most of them are the ones needed to complete my Criterion collection and Academy Award Best picture collection.

According to DVDAF about 135 titles although in reality far too many 'wishes' and far too little $ to make them all come to fruition

1,000+ even though I own 621 in 3 DVD changers and have 122 R2 & R4 discs. My wanting more titles is due to my age of 56, which most of the forum is much younger, they have not seen the huge amount of movies I have seen from age 7!

Four are due on the 20th, titles:

1. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
2. Star Trek: Nemesis
3. Sink The Bismark
4. Battle of Britain

On pre-order is Die Another Day, since I am disabled this will be my first view of Die Another Day.

Currently own: 779
Wish list: 622

My wish list includes only titles that have been released. Anything that is announced for a future date is kept on a seperate list and moved to the wish list after it has been released. I have identified 132 additional titles that have been announced (so far) that will be added to my wish list.

I plan to purchase about 450 more DVDs before the end of the year (60/month) in hopes of reducing my wish list to 300.

28 Are released, but I haven't purchased yet
11 have firm release dates
10 have vague release dates announced
25 have yet to appear on the "DVD horizon"

I own about 350 DVDs (counting television multiple sets like Buffy, Angel and The Shield). My wishlist is currently at around 100 or so. Many of those I've added in the last month.

I was getting happy that I had whittled down my wish list, but then I got sad. So I started looking at independent horror movie review sites and Asian sites, looking for titles. Now I have more "sight unseen" DVDs on my list than I ever thought I would. Hopefully these blind purchases won't be a big mistake.

41 (20 in-print & 21 studio-confirmed future releases.)

I also have 10 out-of-print & 12 pan & scan titles that I'll add to my want list
as they are re-issued and/or become available in OAR.
