Star Trek: Nemesis dvd menu preview...
From StarTrek.com
Man, I can't wait for this DVD. This is my favorite Star Trek film since Wrath of Khan. Nemesis was amazing.

Pretty nifty menus. It'd be nice to see those flyby animations without the DVD menu overlayed.
Here's a direct link to video previews of the menus: http://www.startrek.com/news/news_vi...emesis_dvdmenu

I also enjoyed the movie. I loved Data singing. I think they did a good job at giving the 'inside look' at the group and enough action for those who need to see things get blown up. Only thing missing was some Vulcan interaction. Maybe the next film.

I picked up my copy today (based in UK, we often get them up to 2 weeks early). Been checking some of it out.
Movie presentation looks and sounds pretty good, lots of surround information.
I did check out the deleted scenes, though - no Wesley Crusher scenes, in case anyone was wondering. Of the 7 scenes there, some are introduced by Stuart Baird and Patrick Stewart. They are mostly character driven, some long, some short...but they are pretty good.
Not watched any of the other extra's yet, and looking forward to seeing the movie again - I too thought this was unfairly maligned on it's release.

I also liked this movie, a lot better the Insurrection. I'm a bit hesitant in picking this one up as what are the chances a 2 disk SE being released?

Take that for what it's worth I guess.

Guys don't forget other films that didn't do good at the box office, gained a following after release to video or pay chanells.
Example Eddie and The Cruisers, and Eddie and the Cruisers 2: Eddie Lives made even better than the original in 1989. IMHO
P.S. In the sequel a audience of over 8,000 concert goers at Canadian Stadium, that had just had a Bon Jovie Concert. At the ticket office they were told there would another act after Bon Jovi, but no name.
Michael Pare as Eddie Wilson of 'Rock Solid' band appeared on stage started to sing, then introduced his band members and his true name, *all* 8,000 chanted "Cruisers" over and over! The Scotti Bros (Fred) it was a gamble that paid off, it told them that a lot of the audience had seen and liked the original; put out 6 years earlier in 1983. I do hope Eddie Lives will be out on DVD.

I'll pick it up for personal reasons moreso than the movie. I will say that this one gave great closure to the series IMO, and I left the theater with the feeling that I would not be making anymore trips back to see another Trek movie. Not that the movie was bad, I just felt that this series had given me all it could offer and ended on a positive note.

Very good movie. But, I think their are so many other movies to see now which has made ST not as popular to the masses.
1. Star Wars
2. Spiderman
3. X-Men
4. LotR
5. Harry Potter
6. Hulk
I enjoyed ST very much, but it has gotten left behind.

They would be stupid if they dont do all 10 files as 2 disc sets. Of course it will be another 3 years or so before we see Nemesis as a 2 disc set. Hopefully we will get V this year, VI and VII next year, VIII and IX in 2005 and Nemesis is 2006... geez, that sounds too far away! We will already have Ep 3 and Indy 4 by then.

It's funny how some people get into conversations about if a movie bombed or was a success or not in the box office in every movie thread on DVDtalk. Some people don't give a crap if a movie bombed or not. We just love the movie for what it is, we don't care how much money it makes.
