Will TAG: The Assassination Game ever be on DVD?

Does anyone remember this movie from about 1982? It had Linda Hamilton & Michael Winslow in it. If it is on DVD where can I get it?

SYNOPSIS

The students on campus are all playing the latest game, tag, in which they "kill" each other with rubber darts. The thrills begin when someone switches their darts for real bullets.

Not on DVD but one I'd like to see very much. New World owned it but hasn't released it on even VHS since the 80's.

Still my favorite Linda Hamilton film. All sorts of funny in jokes about John Carpenter and their friends (It was written and directed by Nick Castle who played Michael Meyers in HALLOWEEN). Just a lot of fun.

Although, post Columbine, a film about kids running around with guns may not be too releasable.

I was thinking that TAG had Anthony Edwards in it. But now I realize that was Gotcha! They sound like they were about the same thing though...Anyone remember Gotcha!?

GOTCHA was Anthony Edwards but the earlier TAG starred Edwards' REVENGE OF THE NERDS co-star Robert Carradine. I think that NERDS was made between TAG and GOTCHA making it even more interesting.

TAG is a much better film than GOTCHA.

"You're gonna have to be quicker than that, if you're gonna play TAG..."

I haven't seen this movie in years, but I remember it being very cool.

As I remember, L.A. radio's Frazier Smith ran the game...
