Which DVD 1st?
Hi All,
My new projector should be here shortly....my question is...which DVD should I break it in with?
I'm thinking: Gladiator, The Matrix or Lord of the Rings. Soemthing with some action, good sound and visually stunning.
What do you think? What are your recommendations?

Location: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

The Gladiator transfer is soft and the projector will show off how shoddy the SFX work was (little blocks for heads in the crowd).
How about Star Wars: Episode II for the transfer, or Lawrence of Arabia for a film that needs to be seen on as big of a screen as possible.
The LOTR: EE transfer was quite good, too.
Se7en: 2-disc Platinum Series has the best film transfer I've ever seen, and an incredible DTS track.
