I'm not sure about this but

Twister- Warner, I say it's probably the first because it's most likely their only DTS DVD

Canadian Bacon... there were a few Warner DTS DVDs.

Lethal Weapon Director's Cuts reissues... Interview With The Vampire... True Romance SE...

I always thought the first were the Universal DTS reissues (Jurassic Park, etc.) but I'm willing to find out.

Partially right, I believe. I think the first ones were Universal with some titles ported over from the laserdiscs in early 1998. I know Waterworld (which, BTW is 5.0, not 5.1 as erroneously reported by IMDb) was one.

Jurassic Park, however, was released in October, 2000.

Your wait is over:
Atlantis
Fantasia
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor's New Groove
Nightmare Before Christmas
James and the Giant Peach

and probably a few more that I'm forgetting. Too bad that they stopped using them, though to be honest, the tracks weren't much better than the DD tracks usually.

BTW: Hey Disney, if you didn't fill up the disc with three versions of the same movie (Beauty and the Beast), you might have some bit room left for DTS and a good image quality. Just a thought...

I thought the first DTS DVD produced was Dances with Wolves by Orion.

According to IMDb, Waterworld DTS was out more than a year before these. It could be wrong.

Yeah, Universal. They released the first ones, I just can't remember all the titles.
