Supergirl: Will there ever be a 138min version?

I was reading that the International Cut is not the director's cut. The original cut was 138mins in length. Not that I watch this movie more than twice in any decade, but it would be kinda interesting to have it.

Helen is sure sexy in that movie.

Both cuts are on DVD. In fact in a 2-disc version.

I didn't watch it yet but is there something "extreme" about it that it had to be called the director's cut ?

Not really, a little more character info, more shots of her "inner space" home (Argo City), more tedious conversation and an extended fight scene or two. The extra material gives the story a little more depth, but this is Supergirl, not Citizen Kane. A few extra lines of dialogue isn't going to help it a whole lot IMHO.

Yes..i was lucky enough to find the LE for $6 at K-mart last year.

I have'nt watched the whole thing of either version yet. Though Helen is very very yummy in the film

Hmm i should finish the film eventually.

btw..the 'director's cut' has a pretty bleh transfer. The picture is shaky so to speak bouncing up & down lightly like a VHS. So the international version is the way to go in terms of transfer. Yet if you want to see the extra footage. Then check out the DC.

Why do I like this film?

Because Matt Frewer rules? Um, no . . . because it was only 6 bucks? Chicks in skin tight outfits?

You're right. There's no way I can justify this movie. What the hell was I thinking?
