People, post the title of the film along with the still! It would be nice if this thread were just screengrabs, but if you don't post the title, then we get umpteen posts asking what the movies are. It's not supposed to be a guessing game.

How about a few from the trailer for Matrix Reloaded

If you avoid trailers, then you might want to scroll past this post; however, none of these pics give away any story details.

Jough posted some good advice here for those that are concenred with their web space. If anyone wants a good tool for resizing and converting bmp->jpgs, i recommend http://www.irfanview.com . It is a very simple, blazingly fast, image viewing utility. It makes resizing and saving as jpgs a snap, and you can even do a batch of them at a time. I also use it as my default image viewer, and it is absolutely awesome for this reason alone.

Argh! Use better compression, please. This page alone is well over 3mb, and takes FOREVER to load on dialup

Wow! I can't believe you posted some shots from Bedazzled! I just bought that movie today, and just before opening up this post, i was browsing through the DVD trying to find some good scenes to post. Just about anything with Mrs. Hurley in it is worth posting. Best $6 i ever spent :-)

Sartana if you viewed my URL, I wrote a few words of text for 'every' picture you saw, obviously you didn't *see* mine. It took over 1.5 hours to get the best 24p pics and to center the page. Why not visit my response to see what I made, my favorite is on the last page. Best viewed on a HDTV widescreen in full format for widescreen movies. I made it clickable seen below!

When I put a disc in my player, I'll take a capture of the studio logo and the film rating, if they put up one of those rating screens before the movie.

Here's one of my favourite studio logos:

And here's some stills from "Natural Born Killers."
It's a stupid non-anamorphic so I had to crop the letterboxed image by hand. Oh, and the crappy-looking picture - that's what it looks like on the disc. Horrible.

I'll add captions to amuse you.

No, she just has a headache.

Drop that donut, Copper!

Here's one for the fellas.

You should hear him play piano.

Sorry warden, they were all out of vanilla.

I have three for this one:
What do you mean I'm overacting?
What do you mean I'm not Australian?
I need an eight-ball RIGHT NOW!

I had meant for those captions to be funnier. I am very sorry people.

So, uh, this is your favorite?

Relax and slowly put the WebTV remote down on the ground. Put your hands in the air and step away from television. Help is on the way.

These ARE captured from DVDs, but I did them for use in my own database, where a square image works best. Some of them aren't square, but all of them have been cropped somewhat. Still, it saves me from re-grabbing any of these as they were all sitting on my hard drive already...

12 Angry Men, 2001 A Space Odyssey (2), All the President's Men

An American Werewolf in London, Army of Darkness, Artificial Intelligence, Battle Royale

Anyone want any specific caps from The Two Towers? They'd no doubt make great wallpapers...
I have a request! I've been looking for a high-res shot of Gandalf on his horse, leaping into the mass of orcs. There's just an amazing side view that I love, and no one seems to have a good wallpaper-worthy pic.
