Tickets in DVD's: How Does It Work??
Hey all,
Was thinking about picking up x-men 1.5 and was wondering about the free ticket for X-men 2. The movie looks great judging from the trailers...
Anyway...i have never gotten one of these DVD's that has a free movie ticket in it. Do you bring it up to the window? Do you get reimbursed for it? Is it in the DVD itself?
Just curious...

You have to give them the dvd when you are at the theaters in exchange to watch the new one..
No really, it's just some paper ticket that you take it to the box office that's worth 10 dollars for a ticket to see the new film

actually, i think the X-Men 2 ticket is worth 12 bucks for one admission. i got one with the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back soundtrack, and they just rang it up like a gift certificate. I have the X-Men 2 one, and I figure they'd do just the same.

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
It's just like a voucher for the theatres - so to them, it's worth the maximum value - no matter WHAT the ticket price is.
You just give it to them before you order your ticket(s). It's a piece o' cake.

I found it rather amusing that the X-Men 2 ticket clearly states the following...
"Theater Manager: Write in only your prevailing admission price up to $12.00. Any other amount constitutes fraud."
When I saw LOTR The Two Towers with the FOTR 5 DVD Set Free Movie Ticket, the cashier was instructed by the manager to fill it out for its maximum value even though I saw a matinee which was a few bucks less. There was no such warning on that ticket.
Personally, I hope the theater manager's get prosecuted if they are committing fraud. Because I'm certain that this X-Men 2 promotion will be audited.

On the voucher, there should be a listing of theaters that will accept the voucher.
Bring the voucher to the that theater and pay for the movie with the voucher (just like cash).
