You reckon?

But yeah, I've heard that those people on a non-US server can still get the licenses or whatever through re-routers / IP cloakers based in the US [make any sense???].

Either way; I don't care as far as T2UE goes.

No Theatrical Edition = No Sale.

Buggered if I'm gonna try to watch it on my crappy little computer when I have a widescreen TV and home theatre setup which is more than content with T2UE.

I CAN CONFIRM THAT THE THEATRICAL CUT IS ON THE EE DVD!!!(sorry for the shouting, I'm just excited.)
Highlight "Sensory Control" and press right 5 times. "The Future is Not Set" will appear. Press Enter and see what happens"
Its an easter egg.

I don't think so but now that there is a T3, there seems to be no point to that. But since the ue has that cut and dts, I'm still keeping it.

Ditto, the completist in me feels it's important.

Also, if the trailers are anything to go by, T3 won't be staying in my collection for too long. It really looks dreadful!

This is the trailer that played with Matrix Reloaded, it looks better then the teaser trailer.

Thanks, but that's the trailer I was referring to. It looks terrible. So cheesy and cliched. Appalling acting too!

"This can't be happening"

"John Connor was here. Where is he?"

"Are you going to kill me? No, my mission is to protect you"

"Can you find some way to destroy her? Unlikely, I'm an obsolete design"

"The machines - they're starting to take over!"

Oh please

You see the little shadow over the people in some of the people in one shot, and then in the other shot, it is completley gone. That little shadow is edge enhancement, and on bigger tv's and more trained eyes, it can look worse to some people then others.

On regular CRT widescreen TVs though, I think many will not notice and certainly wouldn't have noticed the edge enhancement on the original Ultimate Ed release.
I disagree completely. Many have been talking about the annoying edge enhancement on regular widescreen TVs. Its very noticable on my 61" analog set. However, my TV is ISF'd --- proper calibration is important on any display.

For more about edge enhancement go here. It even has some examples from T2:UE. When one gets up to the larger size displays, 50 inches or more, edge enhancement becomes obvious. I thought my set must calibrated wrong until I realized that the artifact was just appearing on certain DVDs while others looked great.
