Man, I'm going to have to start saving for 8/5 NOW. Holy crow. The Haunting and The Thing From Another World???!!! I've gone to geek heaven.

Now if Universal would get their act together and give us some more Classic Monster discs, all would be right with the world...

Nice. Robert Wise's The Haunting has been on my most wanted list for a couple of years now.

The list looks like the slate of upcoming WHV (Warner Home Video) releases which includes WB, BBC & New Line (among others). Warner Bros. shies away from releasing unrated product - New Line does not.

A quick question, I love the original "I Am Legend" novel, and thought Vincent Price's Last Man on Earth was very good, how does the Omega Man stack up?

tks
The Last Man on Earth is easily the better film.

The Omega Man has only a passing resemblance to Matheson's novel, but it is still a fun movie if you're a Charlton Heston fan or a fan of '70s science fiction movies.
