Burden of Dreams?

Does anyone know who owns the rights to this documentary?

Was there ever a laserdisc release?

I believe Flower Films/Les Blank himself owns the rights to all his films. Not sure if there was a laserdisc, but I doubt it.

It does get shown on the Independent Film Channel from time to time. I taped it a couple months ago.

I sure hope that it will get a DVD release sometime in the future. There seems to be some bootlegs for sale in Ebay. Probably transferred from LD...

Other interesting documentary that should have a DVD release is Hearts of Darkness.

Les Blank has begun to release his filmography on DVD.

J'ai Ete Au Bal and Chulas Fronteras will be in stores soon. Hopefully, Burden of Dreams will be in the next wave.
