Since MGM is releasing this gem, I sure hope they release it in Widescreen. My partner and I took friends to see this film at a local theater and were astonished at the beauty and coherence of this incarnation of the Dickens classic. Shame on the Academy for not noticing it!

Again, MGM please do this title as the collector's version it deserves to be.

I'm fairly certain it will be in widescreen. (why would it not be?) The Academy Screener I have is in widescreen,... so I would assume the official release would follow suit.

MGM has done well by their releases for the most part. I don't think you should have anything to worry about on this one.

This movie was AWESOME and I also hope for a deluxe treatment!

I would even be surprised if there was a separate fullscreen release of this. Then again, The Pianist is actually getting one, so anything's possible.
