I've read alot of reviews about "Out of Sight", enough to make me consider buying. My question is which version is preferable? Collectors Edition ot the DTS version? Does the DTS version have the same features as the "collectors edition"? Any help is appreciated.

Only the DD version has all the extras and, IMO, that's the one to get. Here's the IMDB.com listing on the DVD releases (the first two are the R1 DTS and DD versions):

Yeah... I'm 99.9% of the time a DTS man, but go with the CE. This title and 12 Monkeys are two that come to mind where the DD with extras is the way to go.

Yeah, a very enjoyable commentary track & a couple of the better outtakes I've seen.

(I usually have a problem with Clooney, but I loved this movie. Great soundtrack.)

Personally I would suggest renting it first. I heard/read all the hype about the movie so I picked it up one day w/ a freebie rental. I was happy I didn't blow the money on it buying it sight unseen JMO

nemein wouldn't know a good film from a pair of fetid dingo's kidneys.

This movie really is great. The first time I saw it, I thought it was OK and pretty stylish, but nothing too incredible. Only on rewatching did I notice, WOW, this really is a great film!

Well in this case there is very little difference Seriously though, it's not that bad, it just didn't appeal to me.
