I wonder if anyone has seen any of the Little Rascals tv episodes that have been released on dvd. Someone posted a 37% off deal on The Little Rascals gift set. I would like to get all the episodes on dvd one day, but I will wait if the dvd transfers are poor or if the quality is poor. The gift set has about 50 episodes and looks like it may be a good buy. Does anyone have info on future releases, order of episodes, etc...

I have the set on DVD. The movies are like the VHS ones that I own, "old timey" as my kids call them. The best thing with the DVD set is that all the selections on that disc are on the main menu page. This way you can go to your favorite with one "click". Also the won't ware out like the tapes do. This is one way of getting all the Little Rascale episodes at one time. (eight per disc.)

Well, I looked into it a bit, and decided to buy the gift set. I probably will have to buy the titles over again one day though once the episodes are all released and restored if that ever happens. The dvd gift set for $55 shipped is just like the VHS series that cost $180 retail!

Pudthai,

Not sure which gift pack you ordered. I guess it is the Canadian thing. I have heard good things on this set. I only have the the Artisan/hallmark disc and the 2 Goodtimes box sets Kmart carried. I doubt they will ever be restored.

This is what I ordered:

I have not received a confirmation yet and have never ordered from MovieDoctor before, but this appears to be a decent deal if you like the Little Rascals. I hope more episodes are released in the future. I will also buy all the Three Stooges whenever there is a nice gift set available as well.
