It has been awhile since I viewed my wargames dvd but from what I can remember the video and the audio were decent...not top notch by any means but worth the purchase.....not to mention it is another movie from the 80's. I wish the studios would start paying more attention to this era of movies!!!
Some Kind Of Wonderful
Pretty in Pink
Mischief
Footloose
Can't Buy Me Love
and the list goes on and on.......

I'll second that video/audio review, and mention that it has an audio commentary (I didn't listen to all of it, but the speakers don't sound boring and that's a definite plus!)

On a big negative note, the widescreen transfer is NOT anamorphic.

I thought the menu design was clever, if simple.

There are also production notes and the theatrical trailer.

If you really like the movie, then I think you'll be happy with the DVD. It's not packed with special features, but it's better than a lot of the other material MGM's been putting out lately.

You might want to check rutger_s' rerelease schedule in the DVDTalk forum too. Hopefully, this title will be revisited like Princess Bride with a 16:9 transfer in the future.
