watched my copy today and man it rocks!!!
yes, i am one of the few but proud Sly fans & in my opinion, this is one of his best action movies by far. from the surprising beginning to the fast-paced end, i just love this flick.
i saw this in the theater when it came out & it cries for being seen on the huge screen but it still looked awesome on my little 36" Sony. i also hate heights which adds more intensity to this movie.
the transfer is great & very little dirt or grain at all (that i could tell). the sound is thunderous throughout. very good DD5.1 track. nice animated menus & tons of extras.
nice intro to the movie & also the deleted scenes by Renny. he even goes into an explaination on the trailer & how the idea came about for it which i have not seen done on a dvd yet. storyboards to movie comparison & 2 nice informative featurettes.
if you are a Sly fan, a definite must-buy!

Yeah this movie kicks ass. I watched it last week and the sound was thunderous, and the picture look great too. This is a flick i can watch over and over again. It's a fun movie. I don't know about anybody else, but that first scene when that broad falls still gives me wicked chills. Check out the making of that scene. Pretty cool, they actualy had the actress dangling 8000ft up with a little wire holding her!

I agree with you both Shastee and brianluvdvd)
This movie is awesome to watch on dvd. The expensive funeral scene is a new demo scene for me now. The score sounded awesome in 5.1!! I hope Columbia Tristar keeps up the good work...

Great movie! Stallone's last best movie! Unfortunately, seeing Lithgow with his overly-evil and sadistic villain persona pretty much ruined any episode of Third Rock From The Sun after the movie.
