I just noticed this is a prerelease due out June 13. I missed it at the movies, but am a fan of Robin Williams. How was it?

A bit too sappy, and I was underwhelmed, but it's a tough adaptation from the Asimov material. I did enjoy the interaction between Williams and Davitz(sp). Worth a rental, nothing more.

EXTREME cheese. Excessively long, as well. I saw this on an airplane and it almost drove me insane. I was ill at the time and tried to soothe myself by watching the movie. Bad move. I was this close to opening the escape hatch to end my misery.
Robin Williams never gets to let loose with his mad comic stylings. If you really enjoy schmaltzy sad films with touches of light humour, you MAY like it. Otherwise, stay the heck away.
