i thought i saw a review on the review forum, did a search and didn't pull up anything. anyway......

a customer rented this movie and brought it back because joe was swearing alot in the movie. i never viewed the film and proceeded to take home and watch. this movie is better than great. i would say that this has to be the best movie this year to date. better than sixth sense. at least this is how i feel. the character, joe, is a troubled boy from 9 to 14. gets into all sorts of trouble but is actually a straight up kid. there is definite realism in the storyline. at any part of the movie, unless you are living on the moon, you are drawn into the idea that you know this kid from your childhood days. it could also be you....

anyway, until i see any better movie with any kind of genre, joe the king is on top of the hill for me.
