I was really looking forward to this movie and i got it last week but saved it to test out my new 43 inch tv. Anything i say here isnt a spoiler really. It was whats on the back of the dvd cover
The Movie is about a women(ryder) who is charged with the murder of her husband while they are out on a sailing boat. While in jail she discovers her husband is still alive. When she is released from prison on parole she escaped her perole officer(Tommy lee Jones) and goes to find her son which her husband has.
I will tell you i really enjoyed this film a lot. Its one of those movie where from the back cover you know whats going to happen, but you want to see how it happens. They pull it off perfectly. The acting is terrific
as well. I didnt see any problems with the picture at all as the colors were clear and spotless, and the sound was awesome expecially a water scene on a river. I definately recommend this film to anyone to watch.
Also for you widescreen owners is 16x9 enhanced, also comes with a documentary.

Ryder? I think you meant to type Judd, as in Ashley Judd, not Winona Ryder (not Wynona Judd).
It was a competent film, fun to root for the heroine, though thoroughly predictable. But even with that major flaw, it was watchable. But I expect more from Bruce Beresford(sp), the director because he's done better - Driving Miss Daisy.

I would give this movie a perfect 10 if Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jone have a hot steaming sex scene that shows Judd's beautiful body. You would think two people who are attracted to one another and are in need of sex will get it on...Oh well! :P

Hey, at least they gave us a hot steamy scene with Ashley Judd and Bruce Greenwood (the scumbad husband) at the beginning of the movie). I went ahead and ordered this DVD (though I've seen it at the theaters - the price was right $13.48 with the use of a coupon) - check the Bargain section.
