I had a free one coming as a Christmas present and chose Memphis Belle
It is the story of Memphis Belle a B-17 bomber in WWII that completed 25 successful missions. The story takes place the night before and during it's last bombing run.
Video: Much of the footage takes place at night, indoors, inside the airplane, very little outdoors so the DVD does not have the bright feel many other pictures do. There are some defects in the transfer but not so many as to be distracting. Not great but I've seen much worse.
Audio: With plenty of dogfights, the speakers really put you in the middle of the fight, ample use of the surrounds. Good 5.1 mix.
Overall: if you are a fan of war pictures you'll like this DVD. Plenty of extras. A good value.
