i was listening to all the members downgrade this film and was caught unexpected by the popularity to rent this dvd. i will listen to you guys with open ears on both sides. there wasn't many good movies that came out in november and this sparked wild west interests with my dvd rental customers. i have noticed an increase in dvd rental sales recently and have to adjust accordingly....

Well keep in mind that there was alot of hype about the moive and it looks as though alot of DVDTalk memember have seen it. So natually (even though the movie sucks) people will remember this hype and rent it. Alot of times people will rent just because it is a new release. I can see this movie having great initial popularity but no staying power. Then again they could have read that you can see Salma's tushy in it. At least this way you can just skip to the chapter rather than watching the whole film.

*sigh*... I wish people would realize that even buying the dvd for $5 does nothing but help create more trash like this in the future. Even if WWW didn't do that well in the theater, large capital from video rentals and sales will persuade film studios to allow these jerkoffs to create more crap like this. Especially if you didn't like this movie but are contemplating on buying it just b/c you can get it cheap..you are just hurting yourself and the rest of us in the long run. I hate to see what happens to film in the next 50 years at this rate. And btw, what's with all this Salma Hayek obsession. You don't even see her whole rear end, just maybe like the top third if that much! Sheesh

Well I work with a large minority workplace and everyone there who has seen it thinks it sucks that I have talked to.
I love Salma but not enough to endure seeing this drivel EVER again.

This movie had a lot of hype around it, but when I saw the previews I immediately felt it would suck. That's why I have not seen it. But with pure hype and name power, WWW was able to break $100 at the box offices before people as a whole realized it sucked. Granted there are those that liked the movie, but I think like the theatrical release, the rentals will drop-off quickly. The fact that it is a new rental and has Will Smith, the pop icon, will get a good number of rentals in its initial run.

It's not an obession with Salma, just poking fun at a really crapy movie. Latley it seems that if you make a really crappy movie all you have to do is have a big star and alot of hype. Attention Movie Makers, spend less on the hype and more on the script!!!

Don't waste your time nor your hard earned money on this DVD. I wouldn't get this even if they offered me $5 for just putting it in my DVD collection. It's THAT bad.
