Loved the movie, but was wondering if anyone can give me a quick review on the quality of the DVD.
I know it's anamorphic, but would really like to know about the actual video and audio quality of this DVD.
Thanks.

DVD Talk Gold Edition
Well, I'm currently waiting for it from Reel (backordered of course) and sure many others are in the same boat. I loved the movie and am looking forward to the DVD, if it ever gets here.

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
I just flipped through my copy that I got yesterday and it looks pretty damn good. Much better than my VHS copy and sound is actually pretty good too. Even the trailer looked fantastic. I love this movie and so getting the DVD was a no brainer. I can't say the transfer is great, only because I haven't watched to whole thing yet.

I got it last week and pretty much concur with the review at thedigitalbits.com. The video was pretty much as good as you could want and the sound is fine too. I mean, what do you expect? This is pretty much an all-conversation movie, so there's nothing fancy there.
I was bit disappointed at the lack of extras, because this movie seems like the kind of film that would have tons of deleted scenes lying around somewhere. If you watch the trailer, you'll notice even that has once quick scene that isn't in the film. So that was a missed opportunity. But at $20 MSRP, this is a good buy.
