The title "Arrival" has been discontinued, although there are still a fair number of copies floating around for $17.99. It has been replaced by the double disk "Arrival/Arrival 2" which sells for $20.99. I saw "Arrival" and enjoyed it (okay, so sue me), but not the sequel, which I think was direct-to-video or a cable release of something. Simple question: is "Arrival 2" worth even the $4 extra I'd pay for the new double package. By the way, as best I can tell, "Arrival/Arrival 2" is on a single, double-sided disk. I believe "Arrival" occupies just 1 side of its disk.

Look, all I remember is the Laserviews announcement, which read something like:
"The Arrival: Charlie Sheen fights aliens! This movie has it all - action, adventure, and a snappy soundtrack. It's really great. The disc has lots of good features too. Released by studio X on this date. Come buy it now! ... Also includes Arrival 2."
That should tip you off.

I have the laserdisc of Arrival, so I didn't feel like spending the extra money, so I rented the double disc. The Arrival is only marginally better than the laser, and Arrival 2 is a renter. Don't spend the extra money.
