Good transfer (of course, thanks to Criterion), but this film is not nearly as good as Branded to Kill. The final scene is tremendously beautiful (Sejuin Suzuki did what he could), but the script is just god awful. The little interview with good ol' Sejuin is mediocre. Some very beautiful things go into this movie, but it is difficult to sit through
