I just picked up the Special Edition of
"Love and a .45", and let me say it`s one of the better discs I`ve seen lately.

The film itself I`ve always really liked. It`s a violent and very funny crime romance not unlike "True Romance"
or "Natural Born Killers". But it doesn`t take itself as seriously. This is a fun movie with witty dialogue and a great cast (including Gil Bellows, Rene Zellwiger, Jeffrey Combs, and Peter Fonda).

The video transfer is very good, but the audio is outstanding. And it`s loaded with cool extras (commentary, deleted scenes, music video, storyboard and film comparisons, trailer, etc.). Even the scene selection is unique (a television set which you "turn" the channels for each scene).

Trimark has outdone themselves. If you like bloody, fast moving comedies, give it a try. You can always put it on Ebay if it`s not your cup of tea.
