Hi if anyone has seen the new Gremlins release I would love to hear your comments. I've enjoyed the movie in the past but I wanted to see what the DVD version was like before purchasing it.

It contains both a widescreen (1.85:1) and pan-and-scan print. The print is anamorphic, and pretty good--there is occasional dirt on the film, and the picture is slightly soft, but still pretty nice for an older movie that didn't go through any remastering. The sound is DD 5.1, and three trailers are included--the original theatrical trailer, a thoroughly hysterical rerelease trailer, and the trailer for GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH (now when can we expect that little number on DVD?). All in all, a satisfying purchase!
