I've read conflicting information regarding the aspect ratio on this disc. Can someone please tell me if the ratio is 1.66:1 or 2.20:1?

I'm not sure of the exact aspect ratio, but it's not the 2.20:1 version. You can actually read "So it shall be done" at the end (unlike in the widescreen version they released to theaters a while back).

There is a strong need in my heart to witness to you, my DVD brothers. I can only pray that you forgive my slightly "off-topic" post.

I have noticed that the Technicolor in several of these older films is absolutely beautiful!! (Check out "The Wizard of Oz" for another fine example of "old Technicolor")

Yes, I too have the 10 Commandments, and was really suprised about the quality of this DVD. Filmed in 1956, "The 10 Commandments" features some of the largest sets ever constructed for ANY motion picture to date!

The remastering of the films audio into DD 5.1 could have been better, but was acceptable for a film of this age!

I want more classic technicolor films!! They truly are examples of "they don't make 'em like they used to"....

soti The box just says "Widescreen version enhanced for 16X9".
