DVD Talk review of 'American Soldiers'
I read David Cornelius's DVD review of American Soldiers at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=21620 and...
I find it is more a rant about Canadian film makers and Hamilton Ontario than a review of this film. It seems to me (I may be mistaken) that the US fight is with nutcase Jihadists, and not with Canadian actors. Correct me if I am wrong.

You are correct that the United States is not currently at war with Canada or any of its citizens who make their living in the entertainment arts. But you'd never know it from this movie, which tries to dress up corners of Canada as Iraq and have Canadians unconvincingly pretend to be Iraqi. Which is very much a review of the film, and not Canadians themselves; if you're presenting a movie about Iraq, and you see Canadian street signs, then you pretty much screwed up somewhere along the line.
