DVD Talk review of 'The Browning Version: The Criterion Collection'

I read Bill Gibron's DVD review of The Browning Version: The Criterion Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16549 and... I rented it based on his review. It was excellent. The build up and the constant battering of a character that is, underneath, a decent person seems to be a particular characteristic that the English do very well. Like "The Remains of the Day", this film never redeems or apologizes for life's cruelty and missed opportunities.
