DVD Talk review of 'Kung Fu Hustle'

I read Ian Jane's DVD review of Kung Fu Hustle at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16709 and regarding the "edited American theatrical cut," I'm guessing the basis for comparison here is the R3 DVD. What most people keep forgeting though is that the R3 contains the "uncut" version of the film; in other words, shots of blood and other things were added to the DVD. The US theatrical cut is identical to the original Hong Kong theatrical cut as far as I know.

Secondly, where was this "turd" that's mentioned in the review present in the film? I've seen the R3 DVD and I don't recall any scene involving this.

edit:Finally, it's great news to hear about all those extras. It's interesting that, although we in the US get the film on DVD much later than some, the US DVD is the most feature packed so far.

Spoiler Space

In the pan down through the apartment complex just before the
killing of the 1st of the 3 warriors, the guy who always has the top
of his ass showing is seen squatting over a piece of paper. The turd
was on the paper in the Region 3 DVD. This was digitally removed
from the US version of the film that I saw.

the US theatrical version of the film is actually the same cut shown in Mainland China.
the uncut version wasn't just added to the R3 dvd, it was the theatrical cut shown in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

I have the R3, but I may break down and actually rent the new release to hear the commentary - not sure I want to double-dip on this.
