Army of Darkness Recommendations...

Ok so which edition of the “Army of Darkness” DVD is the best/preferred version? I see the Boomstick edition, Uncut Bootleg Edition, etc. and would like to get the best version picture, audio, extras wise.

What’s the recommendation?

If you're a rabid fan, I'd recommend picking up both the R1 theatrical cut and the R3 director's cut from MGM. Otherwise, grab the 'Boomstick' edition, which includes both the theatrical cut and the extended 'bootleg' cut, although the additional footage in the R1 DVD is from pretty thoroughly wretched source material, while the R3 looks great throughout.

I too have the R3 and am very happy with it.
