A sense of humor helps.

- A David Hartman mask
- A bag full of weenies
- 37 sock puppets, all named Vladimir
- The missing reel from 'The Magnificent Ambersons'
- Any video files (mpeg, mov, avi, wmv) that feature Joe Theisman's massive compound fracture injury from Monday Night Football, November 18th 1985
- A picture of Golda Meir wearing a Devo hat
- The ability to recite passages from the Koran in the "Ubbi-Dubbi" language from Zoom
- A tattoo displaying a rudimentary but working map showing locations of every Kinko's in Everett, MA
- A Pocket Poodle named Moe

That's it... Oh, and change for a twenty.

I can't believe I used to think that this was a decent flick. You just have to cringe watching it today......

Actual quote from the movie:
"Your tail is clear. You're OK, Cougar. Just stay on my wing, I'll take you all the way in. Just stay with me. Easy, Cougar. Just a walk in the park, buddy. You're a little low. You're a little low, Coug. Come on, buddy, pull up. Pull up, Cougar. That's it. Almost there. "
IGN sanitized their review. WTF? Finally, something entertaining on that POS site and they take it down?

Don't feel too bad; I was reviewing for almost 2 years before I realized I didn't have to pay for my screeners! Hard to believe!!!

Dollars. Though I had to pay 60...I think it's because I review anime.

MM, once again a review of yours has caused rancor and rage among the masses. Every time I feel a disturbance in the force, I know one of your reviews has been posted. Because of you, I can never watch Top Gun the same way again (and I will forever wonder if the plaque for the alternates truly was in the ladies room).

Can we keep this thread around forever? DVDTalk thread hall of fame?

I agree, but the fighter scenes are pretty cool.

This dvd should be in the best top 10 lists.
The extras and interviews are better than the movie.
And for the price this dvd is a steal!

Can anybody tell me if you have a DT5 5.1 system - will you lose much if you listen to the DTS 6.1 mix?

I found it funny when Kilmer didn't want to do the line "you can be my wing man anytime"

No, everything gets redirected to the two side surround speakers. You don't lose any audio.

Agreed - as a DVD presentation and the price (thoughre I wish there was an insert) this one is a must-have!
