Convoy DVD, which version is best?
Hello,
I haven't seen this movie mentioned, being it has finally come out on DVD in Europe and Asia; then again I may be the only rabid fan around here that loves this film.
This is one of my all time favorite movies, mainly because I grew up watching the Rubber Duck run from Dirty Lyle every Saturday morning. :-)
There are a few different versions available and I wanted to see if anyone had any info on them, i.e transfer quality, extra's etc.
Thanks in advance.

Very cool to see another fan of this film.
That really stinks, I have the VHS, but it is starting to go.
As long as I get it cheap and uncut, I will just have to look past the poor quality of the transfers.
On a side not, I was able to acquire the actual audio adverts/trailers from e-bay. There are four of them on a 45 record. This is the same record radio stations played to advertise movies.

oh yeah..grew up watching on cable...how could you not love the cheese of rubber ducky and kris kristofferson, of course younger ali macgraw wasn't so bad on the eyes. i was a kid when out, but didn't realize that peckinpah did it till like last year. interesting indeed! i don't think it was as bad as critics say though.
