to all those who said no (the ones who meant it, if any) need to really WATCH the movies. if anything, the first two. The quadrilogy is awesome, the box it is in is amazing, all-in-all, its a must buy for anyone out there collecting dvd's.

Don't you think that the Alien movies are one of those that you should hold out for HD-DVD just like Star Wars and Matrix?

like someone had said in another thread, the differences bewteen dvd and hd-dvd would be minute. Sure, I'd like to see what they look like, but the fact that nobody knows of any release dates for aliens on hd-dvd that you would have to wait for god knows how long. I, in my opinion, feel that the quadrilogy is worth it. Theres SOO many added features and commentaries and "making of"s that its silly, trust me, if ur a fan of the series, GET IT! Also, if you only like one of the movies, they sell each movie seperatley from the quadrilogy, but that would be a silly move.

This box set is a beast - Easily the best set released (in terms of features) last year. Everything you'll ever want to know about the alien legacy is here (and then some!) - got it for $62 at costco. Greatest deal i've ever gotten. Ahh, brings a smile to my face just thinking about that purchase. :)
