Anyone else seen Scratch?

I got this the other day and watch it on Saturday night..... Unbelieveble! I haven't enjoyed a film so much in ages, if you like hip-hop in any way you have to get this. I reviewed it so check it out if you need talking into buying it! Scratch

Great movie (with amazing 5.1 sound to boot). They do spend a bit too much time talking to the Xecutioners. But I don't like the Xecutioners, so of course I'm gonna think that. I could've watched an entire documentary about DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist and Nu Mark. It's amazing how every single person they interview was inspired to be a DJ by hearing "Rockit". One of the most entertaining documentaries I've ever seen...

The extras on disc 2 are pretty great too...

Scratch

Best blind DVD purchase I've ever made.

I popped this in at around 11:30PM and even though I was tired I ended up watching the entire movie and even dipped into the supplements on disc two before going to sleep.
Fascinating stuff. However, I don't know how it would play to someone who is not into hip hop.

I'm not at all much of a hip hop fan, but found "Scratch" really entertaining and interesting. But, I do enjoy documentaries and taking a look at different ideas (musical or ...).

Anyway, if you haven't seen it, also check out the DVD Talk review: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=4515

Just read that DVDTalk review and the above comments and I'm glad to see others are in agreement! I still love it and can't stop watching the bit where Mix Master Mike takes us through the Beastie Boys intro..........

This looks like a great disc and it's definitely going on my X-mas list!

For those interested in this subject matter, the Q-Bert DVD is supposed to be really good as well. Couldn't find it on Amazon though...
