DVD Talk Legend
A definite winner - with a fun and informative commentary track.
It'a also an amazing example of how much technology, in terms of home computers, communication, etc. has advanced since 1983, when this movie was made.

For 10 bucks it was a good deal, even though I have only watched it once since then. That means it has cost me $10 per viewing.
I have watched Star Wars I about 20 times, that makes the per viewing cost about $.75.
I guess Star Wars is a much better deal.

For the price, this disc is a real winner. Sure 16x9 enhancement would have been great, but the transfer is the best the film has ever looked. The audio commentary, 5.1 audio, and trailer round out this must have DVD. Pick this one up!

I thought the video quality was disappointing, but I'd never seen the movie before, I'm only comparing it to other films from the early 80s. Anyhow, the movie is very fun (well the ending is a bit disappointing) and for that price, definitely worth a buy!
