Super Troopers
Just saw this on one of my ten week LOTR rentals from BB.
Good video and audio.
Bad movie. Not really funny. Looks like the script was made up on the spot.

"...Bad movie. Not really funny. ..."
...you may be right...
...and yet...
...while Rolling Stone even gave the movie four stars...!...
...and then there's this detailed breakdown of the movie's contents... (very useful if you've got children who are pestering you to let them watch it!)
...and Mr Cranky ends his review on this note: "Here's how I know this film wasn't really funny: The guy behind me would start laughing before anything actually happened. In that scene where the cop stops the car of pot-smoking teens, the guy was laughing before they got pulled over and after the cops had already left, as if to suggest that he got something none of the rest of us got (besides stoned twelve times a day). Then, the rest of the audience would laugh at the guy who was laughing at the wrong times. I suspect he may have been a plant from the studio. However, he only bolstered my conclusion that any movie funny to a moron is obviously no good, and if the audience finds the moron funnier than the movie, you're dealing with a film so bad it could suck a basketball through a garden hose."
...that's how it goes...

I really enjoyed it, and the handful of people I've gotten to watch it felt the same way.

Thought this movie was hilarious. Actually picked this one up with a BB LOTR card on a BB clerk recommendation. If you like your comedy spelled out for you, this is not for you. Funniest thing I have seen in years. Looking to pick this one up.

This comedy is the purest definition of "spelled out"....Almost all the jokes in this one fall flat. The only real upside was the cute female police officer.......

This movie was disappointing. Heard from several sources it was very funny, but it had very few laughs. Many of the gags were tired cliches I've seen in other films. I'm just glad I used a free rental on it and didn't but it!!

I thought it was way too long, but the first half of the movie was hilarious!

The first half was truly hilarious, but the latter half really brought the whole movie down.

Watching the deleted scenes, they really should have left in the extra line by the backseat stoner after "I'm Freakin out, Man" which was ... "There's a cop back here."
Anyway I thought it had some funny moments...
