Friday the 13th 1, 5 and 6

Does any one have a review on these movies? I got them for $17.99 each yesterday.

what's the point?

What's the point of asking for a review if you already bought them? I thought reviews were to help one decide to buy or not

Actually I put them on layaway because I am short on funds. Wanted to know if they were worth the $$$.

there is an interesting blooper in friday the 13th, the original movie. towards the beginning (after the kids get to the camp), there is a scene when they go swimming in the day time. being a film from 1980, all the swimmers are wearing shorty short shorts (including the men). when the camera pans down to the dock they are standing on at one point, you see kevin bacon standing there with a hardon! i knows its disgusting, but the camera actually zooms in on it. if you aren't homophobic, its hysterically funny. i guess the female actors he was working with were too hot for him to control himself. if you want a good laugh check it out.

Kevin isn't aroused in that shot - those are his natural assetts showing through those speedos. The way the sunlight hits it, makes it more noticeable, though.

Part 1 is okay, but I don't care for it.

Part 5 is the worst of the series, in my opinion. Very bad acting (surprise), boring death scenes, and Jason is...well, he's not quite himself in this one.

Pary 6 is the best of the series, in my opinion. Solid death scenes, plenty of unintentional humor and Jason is as bad as ever.

And the lead girl in the movie (sherriffs daughter) gives me the HOT!

Im a F13 fan so I have to chime in on this. I didnt buy pt 5 cause it was crap along with JGTH. I have 1-4 and 6.

If youve ever seen any of the F13 on VHS or on TV these DVDs will blow you away.

Pt1 is fair with a 2.0 mono track. The picture is bright with solid colors but not quite as good as pt6. It is still the best Ive ever seen it look.

Pt6 has a Dolby surround track that is actually quite good (the first 10 min gave me the chills and ive seen this movie several times) ; and the picture is pristine with no sctraches or errors to be found.
