DVD Talk Legend
One of the best ever, as relevant today as when it was made - probably more so now. This will also give you a new appreciation of both Coppola (amazing that a director can pull off epics such as Godfather and Apocalypse Now, and then come up with this lean, efficient treasure) and Hackman (is this really the same actor from French Connection and such fluff as Birdcage?).

quite good, quite good, one of coppalas best films, if not his best(nah, i think that gos to godfather 2 or apocalpse now) but it loses some of it's effect on repeat viewings due to the great twisty ending(10/10).

DVD Talk Hall of Fame
i will reiterate how solid this film is. for me it doesn't lose anything on repeat viewings, because there is so much underneath the surface of story to notice and think about. gripping the first time and fascinating on subsequent viewings.

Here's my take . . .TC: blends traditional elements from suspense, techno-thriller, and noir genres to create a unique vision of paranoia. The plot: a surveillance expert accepts a simple adultery case that rapidly consumes his life. Full of twists, turns, and surprises. Among Coppola’s best work. Highly recommended.
The DVD is fine; not reference quality, but nothing to complain about either.
