Anything on this title would be great, since it's a New Line release, i think the audio and video shall be good.

New Line's "Platinum Series" DVD sounds like it will be pretty cool. Besides some standard stuff, like commentaries that discuss "the legendary role-playing game and bringing it to life on the big screen," it will have some DVD-ROM content, including "a film-based, printable role-playing game by Wizards of the Coast, maker of D&D games and merchandise" and a demo of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

Then again, most people I know who saw the movie in the theaters did not have good things to say about it....

I would say rent this one, but don't buy it. I didn't enjoy the film much at all, because you can't get into the characters and the story has no depth.

I agree, but the mise en scene is awesome.
I have it on preorder, since I am a long time fantasy addict.

I love the genre, and I have to say that this has to be one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Honestly!!!...

Just saw a review at dvdfile.com and they say it's very good on DVD!If the price is good then i might buy it
