Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has the Technics SA-AX 720/SH-AC500D Receiver/Surround Sound Processor combination... if you do, is there any way to set the crossover on either unit? Preferably the proc? Just got a new subwoofer (KEF 35B) and am trying to set it up properly. (Yes, am also reading chess' sub thread). Thanks in advance for replies.

It's definitely not in the receiver. If it's anywhere, it'd be in the decoder. I had the SH-AC300 and I'm pretty sure there wasn't any on that model, but I don't know about the 500. You'll probably have to set the crossover on the sub.

Well, the subwoofer does have a crossover on it, however, I'm running all speakers from the receiver (not through the sub). It seems to me (and I could be wrong) that there is, as you pointed out, a crossover in the decoder. If it is fixed, I'm not sure how running things through the sub would help, if at all...
