HI!
I just got a Pionner DV-626d and I have some problem playing DTS movies. The DvD player is set to DTS (DTS : ON) in the setup menu, Im also using the optical connetion.
Everything work great when I play the movie on DD5.1 but when I switch to DTS, there`s no sounds! I have a Technics receiver, (that I also switch to DTS mode).
I had a Panasonic-120 before and it worked great, im doing the same setup and it dosent work with the pionner!
Im really confuse and the manual dosent help anyway.
can someone help me!?
do you think I shoudl return the unit.
Thanks in advance!

As always, did you make sure to select the DTS soundtrack on the DVD movie's menu? (Maybe the Panasonic automatically defaulted to DTS and the Pioneer doesn't.) Before you start the movie, go into the movie menu and choose the DTS soundtrack. Then select "Play Movie" or whatever and see if it works.
