How are these things? I'm in the market for new speakers and these little things would be perfect. How do they sound? Compared to a big speaker? Good highs AND lows?

They are not called Roundsound speakers. They are the Nucleus Micro system from Anthony Gallo Accoustics. If you are looking for the smallest sub/sat system you can find, they can't be beat. For micro speakers like the ones from the "B" word, they are trully excellent. Far better speakers can be had in their price range however if you don't need them to be that small.

i considered these for quite awhile (mostly because of the tiny footprint), but in the end decided they weren't for me. the high's are a bit rolled-off so music and effects can lack cripsness. otherwise, as noted above, they are very good and quite well made. their larger systems are amazing (if you can stand the looks).

I bought a set from someone here on DVDtalk in fact, using it for my 3 rear speakers. For movies they are perfect given their size. When I have some extra cash I'll get a decent sub for the rear and I will have pretty decent full range speakers for the back.
