i,ve had a HT w/DVD player for 2 years now and never think of getting a sub until i have tried one (Energy).
Liked the improvement but wanted more and not ready to pay 1500-1800 $ for the high end Energy series.
Do anyone owns the Yam. sub or would make a recomendation for a beter one availiable in Canada for less than
700-800$ CAD ...
HT setup :
- Yamaha RX-V595
- Toshiba 2008 ( Pioneer 626d for DTS in April )
- Dimention D4 main speaker
- Dimention DCentre center
- B&W 201 surround

DVDBest,
Take a look at the HSU Research VTF-2. It is the best sub in the 500 dollar range (US). You can buy it in Canada. I forget the name of the place on-line. If you do a search on HSU, back in January, some told me a place in Canada to pick up the sub.
I did a brief review of this sub last week.
