I just got the The SAWM40 and I am wanting to calibrate my home theatre system. I have hear things about both of these things and I was wondering which I should use? I called my local video stores and can't seem to find. Where can I get these without spending all my money? THanks

Avia hands down VE does not have LFE tracks
to cal with the rest of your system, You will
also need a SPL meter from Radio shack..

where do I get the Avia and how much is it? another thing, how much is the SPL meter? I am a newbie to this whole thing and just finished my HT setup. Nothing great but vastly improves the PS2 and dvd experience(No, I don't use the PS2 dvd player)

Does anyone know if some video stores do actually rent these? If they do I will just try and check it out around here. Bloomington kinda sucks with the variety so I just may have to purchase it. Another thing, do these discs also help the picture quality. Thanks for the quick responses.

I'm using the Ultimate DVD Platinum to calibrate my system.
This disc is extensive in the audio department and the best part is it's "user friendly". This thing will get your system up to standards easily.
