I have a Hitachi 60SDX88B HD-RPTV and was wondering if any one out there has done the anamorphic squeeze on this TV. I have done a search and have not found anything and am currently attempting to obtain a service manual. I called 1-800-hitachi, but they told me that I could not get one from them. They also told me that if I opened up my TV to adjust any of my settings 1) It would void my warrenty and 2) they would be able to tell, somehow, that I did (for some reason I think thats BS). I don't want to void my warrenty, esp. since I'm on the extended plan. Could anyone help me with my questions and concerns? Thanks a bunch.
