I own a DVD player for more than 2 years now ( tosh 2008 ) that runs thru a Yamaha RX-V595 receiver w/dd 5.1 decoder and it's DTS ready ( discrete 6 ch input in the back ).
My question, is there a good DVD player that have a DTS decoder that would produce the same effect as a DTS receiver cause there is no way i'll chage the Yamaha ...

Not for nothing, but I use a Pioneer DVC302D, the old 3 disc changer. It has worked great for me, has a screensaver, has never locked up, and has BUILT IN DTS decoding.
I just upgraded to a DTS receiver(Always best to walk on the safe side..) , and the sound is incredible!
I don't think the new Pioneer 5 disc is DTS built -in, but maybe you could find this model el-cheapo somewhere.
