I am looking at the sampo DVE620 dvd player for $139 at 800.com. It looks very nice and of what i have heard is a great deal. Has anyone heard anything bad about it?

I have not heard anything bad about it, but at the same time I would not consider it WRT my primary DVD player. If it's a secondary player then I guess it might be OK. Otherwise I would stick to the major brands like Pioneer, Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic. You may pay a little more but you will get much better peace of mind.
